For our winter concert, Collage is excited to welcome back the star soprano Tony Arnold for this all British program featuring two US premieres and a Boston premiere. Join us as we depart from the familiar American soil and bring back a cornucopia of musical experiences. While coming from distinct sonic worlds and musical vocabularies, the connective thread of Benjamin Britten's unmistakable aura flows through these works. From the neo-tonal language of Helen Grime and traditionally-minded James MacMillan to the fragmentary gestures of David Horne, we are ultimately led back to Britten through his direct descendant Peter Maxwell Davies.
